Welcome to Merri’s Nutrition and Fitness!

Through my online premium coaching package, you work directly with me. I customise each of my client’s meal and training programs to suit their own individual needs, goals and experience level.

I support every step of their journey whilst they are working with me directly.

As for me… I know what it is like to feel insecure and lack in body confidence and image.  After having my two children in 2009 and 2011, I found myself overweight and unhappy with how I looked and generally felt about myself.

So in January 2014, I decided that I would change this feeling forever. I set some realistic and achievable goals for myself that would change my life forever

Education is the key in achieving my goals!

I went back to school in 2015 and became qualified at the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers with Certificate 3 & 4 (in Fitness). In 2015 I starting working in the fitness industry as a qualified group fitness instructor teaching Zumba, Bootcamps, Dance, Yoga Stretching, Metafit, MetaPower and Pound classes. 

I also started ‘face to face’ personal training with one on one clients and ran many 8 week challenges as well. This is where I really starting to grow into my passion of personalised coaching.

In 2018 I completed my Certificate in Nutrition & Diet from Beck Health and Nutrition.

In 2020 I completed my Advanced Certificate of Nutrition & Health (specialising in Sports & Exercise Nutrition) and my Certificate in Nutrition & Diet for Exercise Professionals through Beck Health and Nutrition as well. 

In 2020 I achieved my ultimate goal of competing in a bikini/body building show in 2020!

In 2021 I decided to educate myself further and completed my accreditation in Applied Sports Nutrition through Sports Nutrition Association (SNA).

So what were my goals?

1. Change my eating habits by eating more “wholesome foods” but still include the fun foods that I enjoy.  I call this my 80/20 rule!

2. Increase my exercise output and try new workouts and programs that challenged me. One of my goals was to move my body more. I was determined to try all sorts of activities until I found that one that I love. 2 years ago I found my new love, weight training! Today, I weight train 5 days a week and absolutely love it.

Weight training has changed my body composition, my mindset and my life!

3. Staying positive, focused and determined to never give up until I found out what worked for me and my goals! Giving up was never an option.

Today, I work from home coaching clients via my very own online business; Merri's Nutrition and Fitness.

With all my qualifications that I have achieved throughout the years, plus all the practical experience that I have gained, I now have loads of experience to offer to all of my clients!

 

I want all of my client’s dreams and goals to become real and true.
