Cinnamon and Oat Apples


Cinnamon and Oat Apples (Serves 1)

Ingredients 1/2 green apple, diced 2 tbsp rolled oats 2 tsp maple syrup, sugar free 2 tbsp Greek low fat yoghurt Cinnamon, sprinkled

Method 1. Heat oven on 180c. 2. Combine oats and half the maple syrup in a bowl. Make sure the oats are covered completely in syrup and place them in the oven on a lined baking tray for 5 mins. Keep an eye on them so they don't burn.. 3. Meanwhile dice the apple into small pieces and place into a microwave container then stir in the remaining maple syrup. Microwave for 50 secs until soft. 4. Place apples in a small bowl once cooked. 5. Top with Greek yoghurt and sprinkle the cooked oats on top. 6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy.

Tip.. Make larger quantities of the maple syrup oats and store in an air tight container for next time so they are ready for you! You can use them on fruit salad for breakfast as well!
