Naked Turkey Hamburger


Naked Turkey Hamburger (Serves 1)

Ingredients 120g turkey mince Fresh parsley Salt and pepper 150g sweet potato, sliced into chips (keep the skin on) Coconut oil Serve with: Iceberg lettuce (large leaf to wrap over the burger) 10g brown onion, diced 15g Jalsberg light cheese 20g beetroot, sliced 10g tomato, sliced 5g wholegrain mustard

Method 1. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees fan forced. 2. Place 1 tsp coconut oil in a baking tray and place in oven for 5 minutes to heat and melt oil. 3. Take out baking tray from oven and place chips in tray and toss them in the hot oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 4. Place back in oven for 20-25 minutes. 5. In a bowl combine turkey mince with chopped parsley and salt and pepper and make into a patty. 6. Preheat a fry pan with coconut oil and place turkey patty and sliced onion in it. 7. Cook one side of patty and flip and continue cooking on the other side. Flip the onion in pan and cook until soft. 8. Once patty and onion are cooked place on top of the lettuce and top with cheese, beetroot, tomato and mustard. 9. Wrap the hamburger in the lettuce leaf and serve with sweet potato chips.
